 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are hotel or travel costs included in the registration fees? No, attendees must make their own arrangements for their hotel stay and travel.

What should I bring to the conference? In order to speed up registration, you should bring the confirmation letter that was faxed or mailed to you. A tote bag will be provided at the conference in order to carry the conference materials.

What is the attire of the conference? Dress for the conference is business casual. Since it may be chilly in the session rooms, we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.

What meals are included in the registration fees? Breakfasts, lunches, refreshment breaks and food at cocktail receptions will be provided. Complimentary drink tickets will also be provided for the cocktail receptions. If you have any special food requirements please contact Barbara Schpilberg in advance at bs1@moneylaundering.com.

Can I receive continuing education credits for attending this conference? Yes, ACAMS, CLE, CPE and CRCM credits will be granted for this conference. Please visit the registration desk during the conference to pick up the required form.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance? Yes, they will be provided on the last day of the conference (Friday at the registration desk).

Will an attendee list be distributed for networking purposes? Yes, we will include a preliminary attendee list as part of the conference materials you will receive on the first day. The list will include every attendee's name, company, city and country. A final attendee list will also be provided after the conference. You will be notified via e-mail one week after the conference with instructions on how to access the final attendee list on a special post-conference web page.

Can I bring a guest to the cocktail receptions? Yes, if you wish to invite a guest to both cocktails the cost is $95 or $50 if only inviting them to the Thursday night cocktail. Please see the cashier at the registration desk to make a payment and a name badge for your guest.

Do I need to wear my name badge for all events including social events? Yes, you will be asked to wear your name badge in every session including the breakfasts, refreshment breaks, luncheons and cocktail parties.

How can I leave a message for or contact an attendee, speaker, sponsor or press person while at the conference? We will provide a "Message Center" in the conference area for this purpose.

Will there be translation from English to Spanish? Yes, there will be simultaneous translation from English to Spanish of all sessions.

Where do I go to obtain the translation receiver and when do I need to return it? Please go to the “Translation Equipment” window at registration desk and you will be asked to leave your picture ID to obtain a receiver. Please return the receiver each day at the end of the day and your picture ID will be returned to you.

How can I obtain the conference book translated in Spanish? The conference book is not available in Spanish at this time but there is a section in the book which is in Spanish and some original papers were translated to Spanish.
