There are things you should never forget to bring with you to an AML conference in South Florida... These are not in order of importance, though it may seem so!

• Bathing suit (I don't know why that one came first!)
• Your name badge to take advantage of the express check-in
• Suits (or any other semi-formal wear.)
• Comfortable shoes (the hotel is huge and the cocktail hours long!)
• Enough business cards (it is just typical to run out in the middle of the conference.)
• Sunblock (although it's winter, if you decide to stay over the weekend, be aware that the sun can be harsh.)
• If you want to be the first one to check out speakers' papers, bring your laptop to see the conference CD ROM.
• A sweater (session rooms can get cold with the air conditioning.)
• Aspirin for the mornings (do I need to tell you why?)
• A big appetite (I can assure you the food will not be lacking.)
