FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a blog?
Some call it an online journal. Basically it’s an
instant publishing tool. It's called an online journal
because each entry is time and
date stamped and information is presented in reverse chronological
order. This format allows us to present information almost in real
time from the conference.
Who posts to the blog?
This year’s bloggers are
members of Alert Global Media’s editorial
staff. However, we may invite guest bloggers to contribute to
the blog during the conference.
Who can comment?
Conference attendees can expand on the posts and discuss
conference events and activities. Commentary,
opinion and reactions are welcome.
Anyone can comment but comments may be moderated by the blog
editor. Please try to keep comments relevant to specific
posts.
Remember to make comments
respectful and professional and no sales pitches please.
Do I have to register to comment?
No, you can post your comments by clicking on the “comment” link
at the bottom of the specific post you wish to comment on. This
will open a pop-up window where you can write your comment and
enter your
name without
having to register.
I wrote a comment but I don’t see it on the blog.
Comments for this blog are moderated by the blog editor. That
means comments will be reviewed before they appear
on the blog
site. The
blog editor is
alerted immediately when a new comment has been submitted to
the blog, so comments will post on the blog shortly after they’re
submitted.
