My staff is sending me an important fax. Where can I receive it?
Please ask your staff to send all faxes to the registration desk. Please ask the staff at the information desk for the fax number.
Do I have to sign up for the AML Knowledge breakfasts or luncheon?
Yes, please visit the exhibition booth of the sponsoring company to obtain your invitation to attend. Please note that seating is limited.
Where can I leave my luggage and/or any personal belongings if I check out from my hotel on Wednesday?
We will be holding luggage behind the information desk. Alert Global Media, Inc. is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of luggage and/or any personal belongings left in the luggage room. You can drop your luggage off starting on Wednesday at 8AM to 4PM. If you do not pick up your luggage by the closing time we will send it to the bell captains desk to hold.
Are hotel or travel costs included in the registration fees?
No, attendees must make their own arrangements for their hotel stay and travel.
Do I need to secure a visa in order
to attend the conference?
If you are a United States citizen, you do not need a visa to attend our conference in Hollywood, Florida. However, if you are an international traveler, please contact the Department of State for information on securing a visa for your travel to the United States. The Department of State has created a new Business Visa Center which makes obtaining visas easier.
How can I take advantage of Express Check-In?
If you register and pay at least two weeks before the conference, we will mail your name badge to you prior to the conference. Be sure to bring this badge and present it at our express conference registration counter at the hotel to take advantage of our new Express Check-In. If you have not received your badge prior to the conference, please bring the confirmation letter that was faxed or mailed to you. A tote bag will be provided at the conference in order to carry the conference materials.
What is the attire of the conference?
Dress for the conference is business casual. Since it may be chilly in the session rooms, we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.
What meals are included in the registration fees?
Breakfasts, lunches, refreshment breaks and food at cocktail receptions will be provided. Complimentary drink tickets will also be provided for the cocktail receptions. If you have any special food requirements please contact Barbara Sanz in advance at bs1@moneylaundering.com.
Will there be translation from English to Spanish?
Yes, there will be simultaneous translation from English to Spanish of all sessions at no charge to attendees.
Where do I go to obtain the translation receiver and when do I need to return it?
Please go to the "Translation Equipment" window at registration desk and you will be asked to leave your picture ID to obtain a receiver. Please return the receiver each day at the end of the day and your picture ID will be returned to you.
How can I obtain the conference book translated in Spanish?
The conference book is not available in Spanish at this time but there is a section in the book which is in Spanish and some original papers were translated to Spanish.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the conference for any reason after you have registered, you must inform us in writing, by letter or fax (not email), prior to February 16, 2008, and a full refund will be issued. If you cancel between February 17, 2008 and March 3, 2008, a full refund, less a $350 administrative fee, will be issued. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received after March 3, 2008. Substitutions of registered attendees must be done in writing, via letter or fax (not email) at any time. If for any reason Alert Global Media, Inc., cancels the conference, it does not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by the registrants. Speakers are subject to change.
