Fees and Payment Policy

The standard fee for attending the conference is outlined in the pricing section of this website. This price includes breakfasts, lunches and refreshments, as well as presentation materials. You may submit payment with your registration or request to be invoiced. Payment is due within 30 days of registering. If registering within 30 days of the conference, payment is due immediately. If payment has not been received prior to the event, a credit card guarantee will be required to attend the conference.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy

After you’ve registered, if you are unable to attend the conference for any reason, you must inform us in writing, by fax or email. Cancellations received up to January 20, 2012 will receive a full refund minus a $250 administration fee. Cancellations received from January 21 to February 17, 2012 will be issued a credit voucher, minus a $250 administration fee, to be used toward next year’s conference. There are no refunds for cancellations received after February 17, 2012.

If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a substitute in your place. Please note, if you transfer a less expensive registration to a more expensive registration, you will be charged the difference in price. Substitutions for registered attendees must be submitted in writing, by fax or email.

If for any reason cancels or reschedules the conference, it does not accept responsibility for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by registrants. Program is subject to change.

Continuing Education Credits

Participants who are ACAMS members can expect to automatically receive up to 28 CAMS continuing education credits for participating in the conference (including pre- and post-conference workshops and the CAMS examination preparation seminar). Additional continuing education credits may also be available for outside organizations. Please contact your accrediting body directly for instructions on submitting an application. is not responsible for securing credits on behalf of conference attendees.

Assistance with Visas

If you require a visa to attend the conference, once you have registered and paid in full, we will be happy to issue a letter of invitation for you to present at the embassy. However, we cannot take responsibility for arranging your visa, nor are we responsible for interceding should the embassy refuse your application. If you require a letter of invitation, contact us in writing via email or by fax.

Certificates of Participation

Certificates of attendance will be sent via e-mail within two weeks after the conference.

AML Knowledge Breakfasts/Lunches

If you would like to attend an AML Knowledge Breakfast and/or Lunch, please RSVP directly with the sponsoring company as seating is limited. There is no additional charge to attend these events.

Conference Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and receptions. Hotel meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate and tend to be on the cooler side. It's a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater.

Guest Policy

If you wish to invite a guest to a cocktail reception, the cost is $50. Please see the cashier at the registration desk to make your payment and pick up a name badge for your guest.

If you have special needs that may affect your participation, please contact us. This is best if done prior to your arrival so that the hotel can accommodate any special requests you may have.
